In all honesty this concept still puzzles me. From what I can understand, the semantic web will also include your computer files, using a different form of URL… However I think I may be wrong in thinking this. All the information about it uses terms that completely escape, and just when I think I understand it says a completely thing that leaves me once again scratching my head.
“Achieving powerful reasoning with reasonable complexity is the ultimate goal”
According to my reading for the semantic web to work a whole new digital language with need to be invented for the computer to interpret the information its being given. From the statement above we can safely assume that this is no easy feat.
Its safe to say that despite the difficulty they seem to be having with it, its likely we are not far from being introduced to the semantic web.
